'03 Mustang Won't Start

The car, being a Mustang, normally spends winters in the driveway. However, this year, issues with the exhaust and a general lack of money kept it sitting throughout the summer. I did manage to take it out a few times—the last time, in July, it seemed to be running fine.

I went to start it a few weeks ago and, of no surprise to anyone, the car needed a jump. I got the electronics in the car working, but I couldn't get ignition. It would crank, but that's it. My dad came out and we tried it with starting fluid, but the engine would die as soon as the starting fluid was burned up. It wasn't getting fuel, no question there.

I know it has a Viper remote start installed, but since I bought it used, I'm not sure if the anti-theft system is aftermarket or stock. From what I've read, it looks like the 2003 Mustang has Ford's PATS Type C installed, which disables the fuel pump and injectors if activated. There's also the possibility of the fuel pump being shot, the gas being bad, or a nice long list of other things. Unfortunately, I'm also trying to sell the car to cover bills and have literally no money to spend on towing, buying parts, or investing in tools.

If I can't figure out the issue, I'm stuck selling the car wholesale. Any help would really be appreciated.
