I'm president of the Dynamic Modellers Club, scale and figures modeling club in Belgium.
I CAN'T accept that a president won prizes at his own show-contest. It MUST be forbiden.
I saw the same thing at the Sabena Modellers Club 2 years ago ( in Brussels - Zaventem ). We left the show with a very bad feeling and we were in a bad temper. They received a very unkind letter from us. I never received a reply. This show is definitely deleted from our calendar.
I think that at all the shows around the world the president and members of the organisation can't participate the contest. It's a question of integrity towards the contestants.
It's my opinion.
