So far I've read a lot about this swap, and it looks like it should be fairly simple to do on your own... at least I'm going to try if I end up getting an accord.

I still haven't found very much information on the ECU wiring though, but I can tell you from experience it's always best to use the ECU that's meant for the engine... in the H22A's case, you can't even use your accord ECU, cause they are a completely different series of engines.

For the wiring though, I would probably suggest buying a good manual for your car, and then one for the car that the engine comes from, and that way you'd be able to match up the differences on paper before trying to cut any wires.

And as for the auto-manual conversion... I've always been told it would be cheaper and easier to just buy 5speed instead of trying to convert over... at least it is with Civic's... if you haven't got the car yet, I would suggest going ahead and getting one that's already 5speed.
