Can't believe I didn't do this test before, but turns out that when driving at speed, if I put the truck in neutral, both the sound and some resistance completely go away. Put it back in drive and the loud sound and the resistance/friction comes right back. Guess this eliminates the driveshaft/yoke. But what does it signal?
