Man what a pain!

I thought I'd try the resistor trick outlined by "ponchnutty" from a thread back in I think 2008.

Not having any luck measuring the restance between the Yellow wire (Key Side) and Orange/Black wire (ground ref). Not measuring anything.
Appears to be an open and probably the root of my problem? Is there a standard restance used by GM on this 2000 Astro Van? If not is there a good value resistor to use and have it re-learn?

I noticed there is also a Red/White wire coming from the same area if the ignition switch. Can't get a good eyball on it though as I'm so far unable to get the top plastic cover off the column. Does this Red/White wire play a role in this Passlock crap?
