I read your topic and often happened to me to have the 2K peeled off with tape
About x-22... the front yellow fender received this threatment. In the beginning I decided to paint all the fairing with x-22 because of the many decal on them, so I airbrushed the fender and the top tank. But after the first layer the fender was not very glossy so when I used 2K for the rear cowl I decided to give it a try and airbrushed the 2K over the x-22....
The result was fine, no bubble no holes and a smooth surface.
I think I will do the same for the front cowl, as someone had trouble with the chrome decal on it and 2K. So I will try to seal it with x-22 Cross finger!!!
