Hi thanks for the reply .I checked out how to program a remote for a 2002 chev impala on the net and this is what I found in a bunch of treads.
1 Enter your vehicle with your ignition key in hand and close all of the doors behind you.
2 Insert your key into the ignition and turn the key to the "On" position. Switch off the radio.
3 Press and hold the "DISP" button on the radio until the "Settings" menu appears on the radio display.
4 Press the down or up arrows until the display reads "FOB PROG," and press the "Next" button.
5 Press the "DISP" button again and wait for the display to read "PUSH FOB."
6 Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on your keyless remote until the car responds with a chime. This may take up to 15 seconds.
7 Repeat step six to program any additional remotes.
8 Press the "DISP" button again to exit the programming mode and you will be free to use your newly programmed remotes
Everything works as described except the prog fob will not flash maybe it will have to go to the dealer .What do you think ?Thanks again
