I would put in a duct that channels the air from the radiator up towards vents in the bonnet across the front of the engine. The duct would curve up from the bottom of the radiator and ideally would have sides and a top to channel radiator air up and out of the engine bay.
What are the vents that you are looking at using that are taped to the bonnet?
