There are no leaks just a problem with the gauge. no error codes are present and i can not see anything else obviously wrong. I am also looking for any info on a free pdf download of a haynes repair manual for this truck as well hoping it will have some answers. any information on this would be greatly appreciated. Its a pain loging all my miles driven after a fill up. thanks

It is possible this is the dash indicating console. with a front end damage on the driverside this is where the PCM/wiring/fuse box is..all this would need checking out ..
you would need a shop OEM manual ...the haynes manual WILL NOT GIVE YOU THE DETAILED SCHEMATICS REQUIRED !
good luck.
