Hey everyone! I haven't cleaned the engine on my '03 Elantra in awhile (too long) and I'm looking to do it soon. I have all of the cleaners I need and I have a general idea of what to do, but what I'm most worried about is getting water somewhere I shouldn't. Basically I want the engine to look a little nicer without breaking it :P I'm wondering if anyone has any experience/guidance/tips for what to cover in the engine and how to cover it. I'm young and not an expert on cars, but I do know a few parts that should be covered like the spark plugs and the alternator. I also know the air intake should be covered but I'm not sure how I should do that with my car. If anyone more experienced (especially with a '03 Hyundai Elantra) can help, it would be much appreciated!
