It is pretty detailed for a simple out of the box kit. As far as I can tell, every piece has been fairly accurate when compared to the ref pics that I found online.
It's been worth the time so far. And it was given to me as a gift, so i don't know how much it is.

Yea, I just love the "raw-ness" of old race cars. Their flare gives them a great presence.

Thank youuu. I think I'm going to paint the cabin with TS-17 (gloss aluminum) and just apply the bare-metal foil to certain panels to give it highlight diff textures and to give some color instead of all one tone. If that makes sense?
I want to reproduce a thin 1 mm
black stripe that goes across the lower portion of the car. Anyone have advice of how to do that. So I just try to mask it or is there a easier way using decals or another method?
