Good follow up question. If the fuse pops, something caused it to. What? And why? On older cars they had fuseable links which were basically just smaller gauge wire. I blew one on my Monte last week, for no reason at all. Turned out wire was just old and almost rotting away.

However, new fuses really don't do that ever. Has the car been worked on before this happened? New radio? Does the battery drain at all?
