Now should they have don't that, especially without telling me? probably not (that's why I like working on my own car)..could I have found someone else to get it out? That's something I don't know either.
The thing is My question would be if I have problems with the axle again or if I have problems with the bearing/shaft that goes into the trans ( the part they didn't remove). what can be done? Just keep taking it shops until someone can get it out...Does it have to be knocked out from the other side, or through the trans pan....??? just wishful thinking  |
it sounds like they left the inner cv joint in & replaced everything else or just did the outer cv joint.what did they say they did?? is the car fixed??
sometimes the inner joint can be a bitch to remove,but any good shop
will be able to replace it. what the problem was with the car & what was done to fix it was between you & the shop! check your reciept
