Re: Ferrari 612 Scaglietti

Okay guys, I'm back from vacation so I didn't wait and painted the body black. It's my first experience with enamels but I like lacquers a bit more. I sprayed three mist coats last week, then I waited 24 hours to dry and I sprayed the first wet coat. Then I set it off for 3 days to put the last wet coat which was yesterday and today I took couple pics of the body. The paint left some sort of texture to it, but I hope after 9 more days of waiting the rubbing compound and wax will do it's trick.

Question. Can I use the rubbing compound and wax without applying clear coat? And also, will it harm the body if I use automotive rubbing compound and wax on enamels?
