Car moved 10ft in park when I was rear-ended.

Hi. My car was backed into the other day and I was told by the driver of the guilty car that my car moved 10ft (so he asked if it was in neutral). The bumper was bashed in and the taillight broken but I failed to mention it moved 10ft when getting quotes. Is it possible any damage was done to the transmission or anything else? This is a 2001 model with 115,000 miles, is it likely to be a write off? How do they determine a value if this is the case?
