basicly i think it is the clutch release bearing but i am not sure i would greatly apresiate some help as i dont know what to do i am scared to change the clutch incase thats not the problem

but its like a quiet scraping noise and when the clutch it pressed it goes away and also when driving i dont notice it but it may still be there

also does anyone know how to program the key fob for these cars?

i know this car dosent belong here but the premacy forum looks like nobody goes there

G'day,

It sounds like your spot on with it being the release bearing.
When worn they often make noise when not under load.
Putting your foot on the clutch pedal loads up the bearing, which makes them go quite again.
This will continue to happen until the bearing becomes so worn it makes more noise under load, or it collapses.

What ever is wrong with it you need to get the gear box off and have a look.
While it's off, replacing the clutch and release bearing is cheap and easy to do.

Not a lot of action in the Premacy forum I'm afraid. They are not often owned by people who are big car enthusiasts.
But then I can't really talk, I'm huge automotive nut, but I drive the second most boring car ever a made, a Honda Accord.
