Have you ever successfully used this scan tool on this Escalade? Your Escalade probably uses a CAN protocol and your scan tool may not support the protocol used by your 2006 Caddy.

Does your scan tool have it's own battery or does it get power from the OBD-2 port? If it gets power from the port, you know the fuse is not the problem.
