I am starting to wonder if the short or problem may not be in that area. How hard is it to replace the turn signal arm with cruise control? I had a mechanic price doing this once before because of the cruise acting up, but I found this guy has not been able to solve other repeated problems so I think I would rather do this myself.
Have it and save money.
But.
Proper testing before throwing parts at it.
Get a volt meter or a old type bulb test light and check for where ity is losing voltage to the turn signal.
If a add on trailer plug check that wiring real close.
MANY PROBLEMS WITH QUICK CONNECTORS AND NOT SEALED/MOISTURE PROFFED RIGHT AND SOLDERED RIGHT.
If no problem there go to the wires from/out of turn signal switch and check there for lose of signal voltage.
Let us know how it that goes.
