Re: Advice with the 7 series

This forum is a bit unfrequented as far as the 7-series is concerned. I get daily digests to this forum every night at midnight, so generally I don't get the emails till the following morning. But if you're looking for info about the magnificant 7-series, here goes...

Personally, I'd recommend the E32, less electrical bits to mess up and depending which one you find, style will still seem to rock peoples world. I have a 1990 750iL and people thought it was a 2000 model year for some reason... (Pictures in my signature below if you're interested).

All in all, the E38 (the model you mentioned in your thread) is a great car. There's much knowledge on it and a support forum as great as your trusty mechanic down the street....no even better than your trusty mechanic down the street.

The forum can be found here: http://www.the7seriesregister.co.uk/forums
Any questions about the seven series that you can't find covered in the link below will be answered with a quick post on there.

A member on there (Timm, two "m's" for Tim Meek) has a site dedicated to the E31, E32, and E38 models. He has owned a few E32's in the past and has owned and currently owns a few E31's and E38's.

I'm a more active member on that UK forum, username 'forzabimmer.' Hope this helps.
