Time for a new update!
I polished the clear coat using Micro Mesh polishing pads. This is not a factory finish, so I wanted to bring down the shine a little. Hereīs the body after using the 2400 pad:
I used all the pads, and after using the 12000 pad, I ended up with the finish I wanted. The shine is still great, but more accurate for a competition car of this kind:
The final result is just great. The photos just donīt do justice to the finish in the body:
Next step... painting the window borders and headlight buckets, and after that, time for decals!
