5/5/11 Ok so im having this problem with the torque converter. Ive had it replace 3 times now
and every time i get it replace it goes out with in 200miles.
It losses the over drive every time and a code saying p1870 (no torque converter lock) And also this is a new transmission also instaled on the suburban Replaced old trans at 144,000 miles. Also it has the 454 motor and 4l80e trans. Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5/6/11 Ok so new development. My wife goes and get's in the Suburban this morning to take it to the trans shop and none of the gears work no reverse, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th....... This is driving me and the Trans shop nuts.
