If you are really really sure that the master cylinder is good...this is usually the ABS unit...this has been reported to cause pedal to floor issues that are intermittent..when slip is detected the ABS valves screw up..with the age of these vehicles go to the scrap yard to get a replacement..in the mean time remove the ABS fuse. this should prevent thiis from happening again ..you can do this to be sure it is this ABS pump component ..the box with all those fluid lines to from it.
