you need a volt meter and make sure you are getting the correct voltage to the starter. It could also be the ground wire. Does it turn over at all or nothing when you turn the key???

IF IT TURNS OVER BUT IT IS SLOW AND WONT START i GUESS IT IS A CABLE.

If nothing happens when you turn the key it may be something else
