Excellent! Go for it - I don't think there'll be a lack of encouragement from anyone following your progress. Sounds like you've got some good reference material too, which is half the battle.

This is what I like about scratchbuilding - you're not limited to the 'normal' scales or the 'normal' kits - just get on and build it. Of course, having a bodyshell like this is a big plus point - but I'm assuming you'll find lots of details that need changing and correcting, right?

One of these days I'll have to build something with a roof, too...
