If there is a modelkit that have challanged me, it is this Tamyia kit.
the reason is rather simple. The build was started before last reissue, meaning I had to find the model from secondhand seller. I got home two kits, both with warped, or bendt down, roof section. Also both had cracks in a window. Lucky me, before I was finished, it was rerealesed. I then ordered three new clear parts trees. In betweene I even bought a AMG version at the LHS. It's the fifth windowsection that is installed in the car.
Because of the bendt/broken posts, when installing the windows, cracks appared in the paintjob. As I result of all the misshappens with this model, I've decided to build a new replica of the same car. Only this time it will have new wheels, as the 22 inch Rials(The closest I came was these 1/18 scale BBS centers, reduced to fit inside 20 inch Aoshima rims), have been stolen from the 1/1 car.
