I noticed this thread has been sitting unanswered for a while, so despite the Steelers game on, I'll try to provide a little direction.

Now, KBB offers used motorcycle pricing, but you can only get either trade-in or retail. Choosing retail, resulted in $4300 meaning if you bought that from a dealer that's what you would expect them to price it at.

NADA used motorcycle pricing isn't as generous. Low retail is saying $2400 and Average retail showing $3100.

That said, if you can do the work yourself, you probably would want to make an offer lower than $2500 because the parts will not be cheap. Also, you'd want to make sure it runs even if it means jumping the bike to make sure there aren't any hidden motor problems.

Hondas (bikes, cars, etc) are reliable, but it all is dependent upon people taking care of the vehicle and maintaining it properly. Good luck in your search! Keep us posted!
