I did finish this back in November, just keep forgetting to post it. I finished it just in time for the Southern Nationals NNL in Atlanta where it was voted Best in Show!
It's a 70.5 Camaro Pro Mod. When I started on this car, I wasn't sure if it was going to be a nitrous car, or a blown car. I based most of the chassis off of Rod Pearce's Matheis chassis. But once I started on it, I decided to make it blown, and I ended up coming up with my own paint scheme and graphics.
The body is a resin piece from Flashpoint Resins. I opened and hinged the doors, removed the front clip, and opened up the trunk panel. The chassis is all scratch built from styrene rod. I machined the rear wheels. They are three part American Racing wheels. Wheel, centers, and bead locks. All together I think I ended up machining close to 75 individual pieces for this car. From the block and heads, valve covers, you name it. It's almost all machined or scratch built. The only real kit pieces are the front tires, the seat, the steering wheel, and the batteries.
Here's the link to the work in progress thread so you can see how it came together.
