Most decals are user friendly if applied with the standard techniques. Do not soak decals too long in water to remove them from the backing paper. I find that soaking them in a dish of water for about 20-30 seconds sufficient - then remove the decal/backing paper from the dish and let the decals sit for about a minute out of the water before trying to remove the backing paper by sliding the decals off with a pair of tweezers. If the decals is still attached to the backing paper just put a few drops of water on the decal and let it do the work - take care not to tear the decal when sliding off the backing paper. Once the decal is off the backing paper place it on the model and using a cotton swab smooth out the decal and remove any water left behind. If the decal is not setting down snug on the model the apply a little micro-sol with a small paint brush and then leave it alone - let the micro-sol do the work to snuggle down the decal. If you try to smooth or move the decal once the micro-sol has softened the decal you will damage the decal. Work slow and take your time and everything will go just fine. For decals that are not on curved surfaces or that snuggle down you do not have to apply micro-sol. hope this helps a little with your build- John
