The wife's Outback (2.5L) just started hesitating on acceleration from a dead stop, but only when you stomp on the gas. If you accelerate smoothly, there is no hesitation. I drove it around today and it did it once, and even in park, you could feel the hesitation when you were aggresive with the accelerator. So far, I think the A/C was on everytime it did it, but it may be doing it with the A/C off.

Also, it doesn't do it every single time. It's probably way past time for a new fuel filter, but does anyone have any other ideas? New plugs? Clogged injectors?

I did just add some Lucas Oil Deep Clean Fuel system cleaner.
