According to
Fast Parts Network the regulator assemblies would not be the same. They show 1996-1999 for one, then 2000-2007 for another. Same for the front window motors. The picture looks exactly the same.
Generally the salvage yards have software that will tell them what years are interchangeable. Did you ask them to look it up?
