OK, never mind the unit location, I found it in the back passenger side panel. However I am a bit confused now and maybe it was just operator error all along?!

Here is what happened. When I grounded the wire, only the outside 2 lights would flash over and over. I assume this to mean that there really isn't any error codes to read. So then I started playing with the system. I noticed if I backed up very very slowly towards a trash can, the lights would increase to indicate a object in the way. However, if I back up rather quickly, the outside red LED just flashes. Does this indicate a problem or that this system is only designed to be used at VERY slow speeds? When I say quickly, I am only talking 3-4mph in reverse, and slowly = about 1mph.

This is the first vehicle I have ever had with this setup and I apologize if I am using it wrong, but any guidance is appreciated! Thanks!
