Geo, I've been sitting on this for a few days coz I didn't want to disappoint you if it all fell through. Seems a couple of guys down Taupo way died when they slid a Te into a tree going 200km/h or so.
Anyway, the bumper cover parted company with the car on impact and it is now residing in my garage awaiting departure for Houston.
A small part of it must still be attached to what's left of the car but it's enough to ensure I got the bumper for free. The missing piece was torn off through the much discussed slot/vent, the driving light hole and the moulded groove.
I've edited a pic below to show what's missing from it and I'll call my Sis' tomorrow to she what she can do about shipping.
All the mounting points are intact apart from the one in the missing peice. Oh, it's blue.
