Re: Fujimi 250 GTO: KA or Hobby Design?

C'mon guys. I find it hard to believe no one has anything to say about aftermarket details for the Fujimi Ferrari 250 GTO kit. It's been out for like, 3 years now.

Here is what I know so far. KA makes a photo etch fret for the car that is also marketed as a fujimi fret and is available in combination with the plastic kit under a new release. I see that according to the KA website wheels are now available for the Fujimi GTO too. Any rumors of an all-in-one "deluxe" detail set forthcoming? (like they did for the Revell/Protar version...)

I also see that Hobby Design has a wheel kit, a photo etch sheet, an intake trumpet kit and an exhaust tip kit available separately. (All the components of a "deluxe" set)

Are there fit problems associated with any of these products mentioned? Do the wheel kits look as good as an MFH wheel? Better? Does anyone have a link to a photo of one of these assembled?

One of the great benefits of AF is that we can share product opinions before we spend our money.
