Angry HELP,drug dealers 01 Town Car turns over wont start??

Help just overpaid for a drug dealers car out of DC Police auction got transported here is really nice came with a key wont start is at Ford dealer getting the serv tech thru the service writer mediocre responses they want to put in new fuel pump.. I know less than alot about cars but between the two of them they are probably 40 years old.. I asked them to cut new keys and get me a fob they think key is ok...Car has been towed probably 30 times since it was taken from undesirable; rear bumper all jacked up my local tow guy said it looks like they used a fork lift on the rear end, so I asked cheech and chong to chk switch in trunk?? I asked them the procedure they used to try and reset fuel pump switch in trunk could not get straight answer. I believe is key off and out of ignition go to trunk press button firmly go to car key in power up 5 seconds then off and out then back in to see if she will start?? Got the feeling they were insulted but also did not say yeah we did that exactly??? Does the button promeniently stick up when triggered and do you get a good down click switch or what??? I real love this car, sunroof my first one in 44 years, but dont want two Valvoline oil tech graduates working on my high end old used car...

I went for the car because she was a looker (on-line photos) Michelins were up holding air; rear end wasnt dragging; body nice; interior looked ok, factory rims matched, southern car fax out of Virginia, and I figured then engine is the cop car one or close to it with blob body and coomfy seats,,,

Any suggestion on all points would be of great help as my wife is beyond pissed that I bought a car on line financed it through our credit union and now it wont run!! Car is turning over, brand new battery..I have read up on thread through ltdtc on here wish I could have him go teach these two a lesson..

Kind Regards,

Chuck
