I didn't try to buy one per say, but they won't even let you test drive one until they run your credit and you put down a grand to hold one. I would never ever ever put down money on a car I have never driven. I don't see how anyone could not drive a car but still want to buy it. I don't care if it's a RUF turbo for 30K, I would never buy a car until I test drove it and liked it.

And the dealerships were all "You have to order one, they won't be here until March." Now they email me every freggin' day telling me they have 3 or 4 to get rid of and would I come buy one.

And what does a Prelude have to do with this conversation. They are discontinued - so yeh, you could get it under MSRP, if you can find a new one. But yeh, I got mine for invoice plus some change
