I got a 96 with the same problem. In my case...there are rust holes in thru the firewall. So iv taken out the rug and started looking around...and the driver side leak is to far up in between the dash for me to get...so...im thinking i should take apart the dash to get to it.. I know its going to be a job, But this car has only 70.000 miles on it and runs and looks great. Is there any easier way to get in there? or is taking the dash out my only option?
