After building two Tamiya Modena's with chassis that went together flawlessly, I can't imagine what went wrong. Usually, if the chassis and/or body has a slight warp it will all straighten out when the body is mated to the chassis. I do recall spot glueing the chassis to the bodies in order for all chassis edges to be hidden within the body.
