I agree with you Hobie. Street racing does increase the likely hood of having an accident by you increase the chances just as much when you do 5 or 10 miles over the speed lilmit. If you are racing on a closed road where is the irresponsibility. If teh road is closed that means there aren't any stray cars around. Now I don't know if thats how it's done every where, but that is how we do here (on occusion). If you race on a busy highway or city street yeah that's stupid but I still think that racers are smart enough not to race on a busy street. In a nut shell street racing doesn't put you in any more risk than your daily drive to work or school.
