So my sister bought a used 2000 Corolla VE, and the stereo sucks. I'm talking a tape deck here, and that's it. So, I want to buy her a new one for her birthday, but I have a very limited budget. My friend told me that Pioneer is the way to go (also that all other brands suck balls
) so I looked up Pioneer's website, the $100 stereo looks good, but that's still more than I want to pay.
What are my options? Ebay for a used one? Here for a used one? Other brands (my friend would freak out at me but I think it's a viable option)?
