2001 GMC safari stalling!!
I do not have too mcuh information at the moment. But i was asked a interesting question.
2001 GMC safari.
a couple check engine lights. misfire, ckp error circuit A??, transmission circuit somethign.. forgot.. i just know the last code was p0701.
anyways, here's the funny part. The vehicle will start no problem. it can go into reverse and reverse. it can go into P or N and idle there or even throttle. The only thing you cannot do is put the vehicle into "D". the second you put the vehicle into D it will stall.
what was changed from my understanding is spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, crank sensor.
THe only thing they didn't tackle was the transmission code or p0701. Would that be the culprit here? Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!!
