I have replaced the egr sensor, coil pack, plugs (Checked the gap) and wires, fuel filter and switched mass air flow sensor. I looked at IMRC and it seems a little jammed up but I unplugged it and ran the car and it did the same thing. The car ran GREAT until about a week ago and now no one seems ro know what;s wrong. THE IMRC is $330 from Ford and this may or may not fix it? Since all the upper and lower intake and throttle body is all SVT I'm not even sure if I need the IMRC I put new injectors in about 6 months ago too and a new fuel rail. HELP please....
Let me reiterate...When I stomp on it. In first and second its fine. When I shift into third and (still have the Pedal all the way down) it's slower getting up to the higher rpms and when I get arond 6000 it starts to hesitate and it just stops accelerating and surges but if I shift into fourth it drives fine until it gets arond 6000rmps again.
When it running normally if I get on on it has immediate response and wont stop until I hit the rev limiter. I did try fuel injection cleaner Too...Everything is tight and I have checked all the usual crap and now it just pissing me off....

Let me know if you figure this out cuz i'm having a very similar problem and suspecting it to be the IMRC as well.
