mitsubishi didn't use the "evolution" name until the evo2. the first one was called the GSR turbo, something like that. that first evo, mitsu didn't use it much for WRCing. they were using the galant VR-4 for the WRC competitions. now for the evolution 2, i haven't seen any on the market. but if you don't mind some sandings and converting you can buy the evo3 kit and convert it into the 2. there are some differences between the two like the front bumper(evo2 doesn't have a chin spoiler), another one is the rear taillights(signal lights aren't the egg shaped ones and the reverse lights), the others-no side skirts(ground effects), diff hood vent and diff wing.
