that would work fine. and your subs are only 400wrms for the pair. dont buy an amp to match the max wattage. that specific jbl puts out 300@4ohms or 600@2ohms. since your subs are dual 4's, and the amp is a monoblock, you only have one option. wire the coils parallel and then from the box terminals in series... this way maintaining a 4ohm load. if you parallel the coils and the terminals, that will bring it down to 1ohm, and unless i missed a spec somewhere, the bp600.1 isnt 1ohm stable. therefore you'll be pushing 300w to a pair of subs with a 400wrms. if anything i'd assume the jbl is underrated, so just play with the gain to get desired output.
