its true that it will reduce engine life, but any mod you put on your car reduces engine life. so if your worried about engine life then you better leave your car stock or not even run it, just sit there and look at it.
you could always go nos, because then you only use it when your racing. a turbo is on all the time, nos is only when you use it for a race
