well if you put the rotor on good, double check, and the cap on good, double check. then either you must have messed up the wiring, or you didnt put the spark plug wires on the spark plug good.
one time i was working on this Z28, doing a full tune up. so i replaced the rotor, cap, wires, plugs. well as you know, when you put the wire on the plug it suppose to click on, and that tells you its on good. well i clicked all of them on but one, so i started it up and drove around and it was missing. so i just switch wire spots and i got it clicked on, and it ran fine, plus after the tune up, the car felt more responsive and faster.
point is make sure you put the wires on the plugs good, you can tell that by a loud click it makes when it snaps on the plug, not a soft click but a loud click. because i noticed that it has a small click once then a loud click after when its on good
