I personally like the B18b over the B18a just b/c it's a newer motor. For boost either is okay....if you want to spend more money than you could go Vtec and get a B18c1 those boost pretty good if you do run a good FMU. I have heard nothing but positive things about Honda Data. If you got the cash than go B18c1 (GSR) if not than go B18b...if your going to boost more than 6-7 psi or so i would tear the motor down and get forged pistons and use a thicker head gasket to bump up compression a bit.
