Are you sure it was a Monte Carlo? Sounds like a Grand National to me. The GN's came with a highly turbocharged V6 and ran mid 13's stock. The car itself is awesome, too bad it had to be an ass who owned it. I don't know why he would be so sore towards "rice"(aka Japanese) cars. He must've faced-up against a quiet Supra or RX-7
