You're not going to like this...it's a challenge. The Helms manual recommends removing the rear seat (completely) then removing both side panels in the rear. With all of that out, now you can remove the rear deck. Whew! I replaced the factory 6X9's and it took me like a day and a half. I checked with a few people to make sure I had to do all of this work just to get the rear deck out, they told me yes. Hope this helps.
