you still have to give nissan credit, it still did have its moments. during the early 90's it was a performance powerhouse. with those technological marvels out, no one would've ever thought that it would go nearly bankrupt. its not the product that killed them, it was the marketing department. as you know, its all in the marketing, you can sell crap as long as there is a strong marketing campain. and you have the best cars in the world, but if its not exposed to the general public as much, then it wouldn't suceed.
