thanks for EGR idea wiswind.

I just had sparkplugs, fuel filter changed today(what a pain the 3 on the back side). Did replace the one wire which my mechanic had laying around. I'm not sure if I broke while pulling or if it was already busted and that could have been the problem. going to drive it a for a few days and if it is still an issue i'll have to try your EGR test. Also plan to install all new wires anyway once I get cheap ones from the states, cheapest here in canada is almost 60 with tax.
